Our hospitable house is located in the middle of the picturesque mountain village Rein in Taufers, in Rein Valley. The comfortable apartments with a balcony offer much space, and a sauna as well as an infrared cabin guarantee soothing relaxation after your activities in the fresh mountain air. Our comfortably furnished apartments ensure privacy and flexibility. At the same time, our house offers a hearty and familiar atmosphere.

The Rein Valley is an idyllic side valley of Tauferer Ahrntal. Rein is located at 1,600 m of altitude in the heart of the spectacular mountain scenery of Rieserferner-Ahrn Nature Park at the foot of Mt. Hochgall. With 32 peaks in total that are more than 3,000 m high and with the famous Rein waterfalls, wide pastures and cosy mountain huts, Rein Valley is the perfect choice for holidays in the middle of nature, with a high level of regeneration and varied outdoor activities. We will also be pleased to tell you more about our personal favourite tours in the Rieserferner and Durreck mountains.

Active travellers will love the surroundings of Rein in Taufers at any season: In summer, you can directly start your hikes and mountain bike tours from our house. In winter, you will find perfectly prepared cross-country ski runs and two ski lifts only 5 minutes on foot from your apartment. The snowy winter landscape is optimal for wonderful snowshoe hikes and ski tours as well as for tobogganing and ice climbing. Also, the ski areas Speikboden and Klausberg can be reached within 20 or 30 minutes by car. Taufers Castle and the vivid city centre of Bruneck are worth a visit as well.

Winter sports of all kinds

Thanks to the position close to the main Alpine Ridge at 1,600 m of altitude, Rein in Taufers is a winter sport resort with great snow conditions. Cross-country skiing, snowshoe hiking, ski touring, skiing, tobogganing and ice climbing: everybody is offered his preferred type of winter sport.

The indicated prices are to be understood, in case of direct bookings, per apartment and day for the indicated number of persons. For each additional person over 14 years a surcharge of 15 € per day is required, for kids under 14 years 8 € per day. Children until 2 years are free. The prices include the value-added tax, electricity, hot water and satellite TV as well as the change of bed linen and towels if necessary.

  • Children until 2 years: free
  • Children from 2 until 14 years: 8 € per day

Since January 1st 2022, a local tax of 2.90 € per person (from 14 years) and per day is necessary. The local tax is not included in the price.

Final cleaning is not included in the price. For the final cleaning, the following fees will be charged:

  • Apartment Type A: 30 €
  • Apartment Type B+D: 40 €
  • Apartment Type C: 50 €

Arrival from 3 pm – Departure until 9 am

Small dogs until 7 kg are allowed. We will ask a surcharge of 7 € (without food) per day.

Breakfast is served on request. The price is 15 € per breakfast for one adult, the price for children under 14 is 8 €.
